Week one has come to a close and today is dedicated to full recovery. I highly recommend lots of stretching, warm showers, baths or Jacuzzi sessions. I spent a good amount of time foam rolling, eating good food, stretching with bands, eating more food, resting and preparing myself mentally and physically for a slightly more intense week coming up than the one before. Nothing will be easy for here on out, it won't necessarily be max effort, but never easy. The only easy day was yesterday. Stay tuned and I will upload many different ideas for stretching.
I prefer heat to get the body feeling good, I never cared much for ice, but I used to recommend contrast baths because I learned the it would help aid in recovery, but I no longer believe that. I never even did it more than a few times myself because I didn't see any immediate benefit and I was a pussy about cold baths. The only thing I recommend ice for is drinks and bee stings.
