In March 2013, Matt became the head strength & conditioning coach for the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, FL.
Matt Wichlinski is a two-time All-American athlete who turned strength coach to share his passion for strength and athletics with athletes and fitness enthusiasts. Matt was featured in Sports Illustrated and on ESPN for his talents on the gridiron and he has played football in America, Mexico, Finland, Germany and most recently in Poland for the Warsaw Eagles.
Matt has hosted and co-hosted several strength and fitness seminars across the globe including The Strength Shop in Virginia, The Underground Strength Conference 2012 in New Jersey, England, Sweden, Poland, Ireland, and the largest CrossFit affiliate in the world in Copenhagen, Denmark with other highly sought after coaches like Jim Smith from The Diesel Crew and Zach Even-Esh. Matt has written for several magazines including The Performance Menu, My Mad Methods Magazine, and is on the on the www.undergroundstrengthcoach.com expert panel.
Matt's gym, The Strength Shop, was featured in The Performance Menu as a top performance gym to look out for along with other renowned coaches like, Eric Cressey, Mike Boyle, and Josh Henkin. Matt is a USA Weightlifting Coach, IKFF Certified Kettlebell Teacher, Underground Strength Coach, CrossFit certified coach, NSPA-CPT and advocate of all things badass.
